The UK government said it had chosen two British companies as preferred bidders for more than 200 mln stg worth of contracts to maintain the Royal Navy's support ships.
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) said it had selected Northwestern Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders of Birkenhead and the A&P Group as the final two contenders to support the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) vessels.
